GS_Play Predevelopment

GS_Core Foundations: Manager startup sequencing, Save system with Record Keeper, Stage Manager, Options framework, GS_Actions, GS_Motion, and the core Utilities library.

GS_Unit, GS_Performer Foundations. Full character control stack, character performances begun.

GS_Interaction, GS_Environment, GS_PhantomCam, GS_Cinematics, GS_UI, GS_Audio, and GS_Juice Foundations. Complete world interaction stack, virtual camera system, dialogue editor, and game feel tools.

GS_Play Player & World
Deepen gameplay features to enrich the game world, fill in character performer, and bring the Unit system up to “narrative exploration” level control. This covers GS_Unit, GS_Performer, GS_Environment, and GS_Interaction.
Q2 2026
Cinematic Richness
Focus explicitly on visual presentation, functionality, and appeal. Deep development of GS_Cinematics, GS_Audio, GS_PhantomCam, and GS_Juice.
Q3 2026
Platforms & Systems
Development of GS_Platform; the destination for hardware and software supports across operating systems, mobile, and distribution markets like Steam. Additionally; GS_UI for advanced ui needed to support complex service and data navigation systems; and extensive expansion of GS_Options to enable hardware tuning, and accessibility functionality across GS_Play.
Q4 2026
Character Action
Enriching character gameplay with action through the GS_Item inventory and equipment system, elevated with GS_Stats. Expand Unit capcity for Action Gameplay: jumping, rolling, dodging. Developing first GS_AI foundations to enable enemies to keep up.
Q1 2027
Complex Character
Complex GS_AI systems and behaviour. Advanced GS_Item equip and inventory driven action. Advanced Unit systems to satisfy full action adventure gameplay necessities. Extensive Cinematic and Narrative features to keep up and deliver a jaw dropping game experience.
Q1 2028
Complex World
GS_World Foundations. Streaming world environment, deep persistence, off-stream simulation. Fully fledged GS_Environment, advanced time systems, day/night, celestial body and weather systems, and complex object property systems.
Q3 2028
